My Journey to Africa

My journey to Africa was both relaxing and exciting. I explored the streets of Marrakech and Fez, enjoying the historic cultural and religious monuments of Morocco. I also traveled to beautiful Seychelles where I lounged on gorgeous beaches and listened to the waves rush against the seashore. My resort in Seychelles was amazing and I enjoyed both local and familiar culinary delights. I used a map to navigate through the cities and towns in Africa I wanted to visit, and I travelled by bus and plane.

The Cultures in Africa

There are many cultural influences in Africa. Because many African countries were colonies and because the continent is close to Europe and the Middle East, there is a diverse cultural landscape in the continent. This also means that the food and architecture in Africa has influences from the world’s surrounding cultures.

Getting To and From Africa

When you travel to Africa, you have many options for transportation. Using a map, you can travel to the Northern, Southern, Eastern or Western parts of the continent through many international and regional airlines. Within Africa, you can travel by car or bus, and there are again regional airlines which will transport you across the continent. You can travel economy class, but there are also many options for business or first class travel.
